Al-Anon/Alateen
Group meetings for family, friends, spouses of alcoholics. Population Served: Groups for those ages 6-12, 13-19, 19 and older. Free.
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)
get information on AA and local contacts throughout the US

Adult and adolescent services
Co-Dependents Anonymous
information on co meetings, educational material
Fifth Steet Renaissance/SARA Center
offers transitional housing for the homeless, a food pantry for the hungry, various programs for persons living with HIV and AIDS, a transitional youth program, and various other programs for those in need of a helping hand.
Gateway Foundation
teen males,and adult males and females with substance abuse, outpatient, residential, and recovery support, Medicaid, sliding fee scale.
Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery Springfield Facility
Various levels of outpatient treatment; can perform assessments and link to inpatient treatment at Proctor or BroMenn if needed. Population Served: Adolescents ages 13-17 (some 18-yr-olds if still in high school) & adults ages 18 and above; treat all addictions including substances, food, sex, gambling, spending, Internet, chronic pain for those addicted to prescription drugs. Payment: Self-pay, insurance, Medicare A & B.

Narcotics Anonymous
Group meetings. Population Served: Anyone who has a desire to stop using narcotics. Free.
Pavilion
chemically dependent males and females ages 17 and up. Partial hospitalization.-sliding fee scale.
