Christina has worked in the Social Service field for over thirteen years. She has worked with several different populations such as: developmentally disabled adults, children, clients with substance abuse issues and mental illness. Christina currently works as a Case Manger at a Crisis Center. Christina reports "I love working with people in need help them find the resources they require and empower them to have a brighter, more fulfilled future".
Christina's role on this website is researching and updating community resources; She will answer inquiries about available community resources, update and provide the "Latest News" about any events going on in the community, new community resources opening up, and any significant changes in the resource area.
Christina has her Masters in Human Services and Bachelors in Social Work through the University of Illinois in Springfield. She is certified as an alcohol and drug counselor through IAODAPCA. Her favorite pastimes are: reading on new treatment models, philosophy; attending church where she is a member of Blessed Sacrament Parish in Springfield, Illinois; drawing; and creating substance abuse /mental illness activities and games for group therapy sessions.
Christina was born and raised in Mt. Zion, Illinois and moved to Springfield, Illinois in 1998. She has been married for 3 years, and has three wonderful children: Alyssa, Anthony and Carma. Christina plans to complete her Masters in Social work and Certification in the future.

Healther has worked as a Nurse and a Health Educator in a Substance Abuse Treatment Facility. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). Currently she is employed in a long term care facility as the Director of Social Services. She graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Promotion.
Heather provides and updates information on Health Issues that are of growing importance such as: Hepatitis, AIDS, FLU, and STD's.
