This page consists of several programs and agencies that provide various services and programs for individuals in need of financial assistance, educational and employment resources, and unemployment assistance and support.

Bill Assistance Programs-for CWLP If financial troubles are making it difficult for you to cover your CWLP bill, please let us know. We will do everything we can either to set up a convenient payment program or to help identify sources of assistance that might be available to you. Bill payment assistance programs and services that are available to CWLP customers include:
Catholic Charities-Crisis Assistance We provide guidance, case management, referral and advocacy. We also may provide food, clothing and household vouchers, rent and utility assistance, or special food baskets and gifts during the holiday seasons. People in crisis need someone who cares and that is why we are here.
Catholic Charities-Med Assist The staff of the MedAssist program help individuals determine their eligibility and assist their applications for the programs that the pharmaceutical companies have for the poor.
Champaign County Regional Planning Commissions LIHEAP,housing, weatherization programs, emergency rent assistance, housing counseling
Champaign County Regional Planning Commissions financial assistance(scholarships, senior minor home repair, emergency rent, matched savings accounts, business loans).
Consumer Credit Counseling credit counseling services for $35 a month, with at least 2 creditors and income.
Dr. Edwin A. Lee Community Resource Center information and referral, case management, parents/grandparents raising grandchildren support group, financial management program.
Elizabeth Ann Seaton Program assisting pregnant and parenting women in Springfield and the central Illinois area with:Mentoring Support, Education, Practical Assistance, Employment Assistance, Education, Volunteer Opportunities
